Voter Registration
In order to cast your vote in the June 3 municipal election, you must be properly registered to vote in Greenwood.
To register to vote, or to change your name or address on an existing registration, please fill out the Voter Registration Application and mail or hand deliver it to the Leflore County Circuit Clerk's Office (see below) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Absentee Voting
If you will be out of town on Election Day, are disabled, or are over the age of 65, you can vote absentee in one of two ways:
In Person: Visit the City Clerk's office at Greenwood City Hall (101 West Church Street) to vote in person. City Clerks will be on-hand Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, May 31 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon to step you through the absentee voting process. The deadline for absentee voting in person is Saturday, May 31 at 12:00 noon.
By Mail: Call the City Clerk's office at Greenwood City Hall at 662-453-2246 to request a ballot to be sent to you via U.S. Mail. If you are unable to request a ballot for yourself, you can have a parent, spouse, child, guardian, or other designated agent request a ballot for you. If you will be out of town or are over the age of 65, your mail-in ballot must be notarized. If you are disabled, your mail-in ballot must be witnessed. All mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, June 3 and received by the City Clerk's office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9.

To determine where to vote on June 3, use the Greenwood Ward Map to identify which ward you live in, then visit the corresponding voting precinct on Election Day.
